Beijing Tong Ren Tang: Leading TCM Advocacy
Beijing Tong Ren Tang (Auckland) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “BTRT Auckland”), the sole invited TCM enterprise, exemplified the Beijing TRT Group and our global strategy to promote TCM. Engaging with over 600 attendees, the company facilitated meaningful exchanges to advance TCM culture. Staff from Tong Ren Tang’s Christchurch branch hosted the event, while two TCM practitioners provided on-site consultations, including pulse diagnosis, acupuncture, and Tuina massage, allowing attendees to experience the therapeutic and cultural value of TCM firsthand.
Immersive Cultural Experience
The event featured interactive displays, including a showcase of Chinese medicinal herbs, TCM tea-tasting, and a hands-on herbal sachet-making station. These activities highlighted Tong Ren Tang’s rich heritage and brand legacy, fostering greater public understanding and appreciation of TCM in New Zealand.
Advancing TCM Globally
Looking ahead, BTRT Auckland is committed to deepening collaboration with New Zealand communities to enhance TCM’s global influence, contributing significantly to the “Going Global” strategy for Chinese medicine.
As part of the 16th United Nations “International Chinese Language Day” series, the event, themed “Chinese Language as a Bridge, TCM as a Medium,” vividly showcased the unique charm of Chinese culture and was warmly received by New Zealand’s diverse communities.
