This launch builds on a strategic partnership established in June 2024 between Tong Ren Tang Chinese Medicine and Deer Industry New Zealand, formalized during a bilateral business cooperation signing ceremony attended by Mr. Gu Haiou, Vice General Manager of Tong Ren Tang Group and Chairman of BTRT. The collaboration focuses on producing premium dietary supplements using New Zealand’s high-quality deer resources.

The new product line features premium wellness offerings, including deer velvet, deer tail, deer sinew, deer blood, and deer placenta, crafted with Tong Ren Tang’s 350-year legacy of traditional processing techniques and New Zealand’s standardized production protocols. Designed to be traceable, quantifiable, and export-ready, the products are manufactured in a fully localized, closed-loop system, ensuring precision and safety at every stage. Each deer is assigned a unique traceability tag, akin to an “ID card,” enabling real-time tracking of its origin, environment, and breeding conditions.

“Quality remains the unwavering core of Tong Ren Tang,” said Mr. Suo Donghua. The facility is equipped with an ISO-compliant quality control laboratory and a robust quality management system, reinforcing its commitment to research, development, and high standards.

The first batch of products, primarily hard capsules for easy consumption and optimal absorption, is slated for release mid-2025, targeting New Zealand and Asia-Pacific markets. The flagship “Deer Placenta Capsule” utilizes natural freeze-drying technology to preserve active ingredients, promoting cellular regeneration, physical vitality, and beauty benefits.
