June 7, 2017, Beijing Tong Ren Tang Europe Holding B.V., LLP Citic Kazakstan, Medical Center Hospital of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Ms. Yongling Ding, the Deputy Managing Director of China Beijing Tong Ren Tang (Group) Company Limited and Mr. Akhetov Amir Amantaevich, Director of Medical Center Hospital of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan attended the ceremony.

The ceremony is witnessed by Mr. Bakytzhan Sagintayev, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, and Mr. Chang Zhenming, Chairman of CITIC Group. According to the signed agreement, based on three principles – close cooperation, sharing competitive advantages and co-development, all three parties agree to leverage Beijing Tong Ren Tang’s brand, deep knowhow and professionalism in Chinese Medicine field to setup Beijing Tong Ren Tang Chinese Medical Center for promoting Chinese medicine culture in Kazakhstan, providing adequate Chinese medical products and services to the area and also foster Tong Ren Tang’s brand in the international market.

After the ceremony, Ms. Abdykalikova Gulshara, Secretary of State of the Republic of Kazakhstan, leader of department of health, Kazakhstan, Mr. Chang Zhenming, Chairman of CITIC Group, and Ms. Yongling Ding, the Deputy Managing Director of China Beijing Tong Ren Tang (Group) Company Limited attended the Beijing Tong Ren Tang Chinese Medical Center opening ceremony at the Medical Center Hospital of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan and gave an important speech.

Ms. Abdykalikova Gulshara expressed her gratitude to Beijing Tong Ren Tang for introducing Chinese medical services into Kazakhstan, allowing their citizens to enjoy the services and raise their society’s well-being.

Ms. Yongling Ding further expressed, being the Chinese medicine ambassador for the one belt and one road initiative, Beijing Tong Ren Tang carries the important role of promoting and innovating Chinese medical culture. In year 2013, Mr. Xi Jinping, President of the People's Republic of China, proposed the idea of “Silk Road Economic Belt” in Kazakhstan, allowing Chinese medicine to be the golden key to the local’s well-being. We devoted ourselves to supporting the idea, exploring deep into the Chinese medical culture, and dedicate ourselves to promote and develop the Chinese medical culture in Kazakhstan, researching on the common diseases in the area and develop Tong Ren Tang products alongside with high quality Chinese diagnosis and treatment services to protect the local citizens from illnesses and take part in improving the society’s well-being.

The Chinese Medicine Master – Mr. Guan Qingwe, The representative of China Intangible Cultural Heritage – Chinese Medicine Culture and Beijing Tong Ren Tang Chinese Medicine Practitioners – Ms. Li Zhi performed a free 3-day diagnosis and consultation service for the local public. On the commencement day Mr. Guan Qingwe also performed Chinese medical diagnosis and treatment service for leaders of Kazakhstan.

At the same night, the Kazakhstan national TV station, alongside with a lot of mainstream national and international media also reported about the opening.
