This publication, driven by Beijing Tong Ren Tang Chinese Medicine Co., Ltd. It also serves as a special tribute to the second "Tong Ren Tang Day."
In the preface, Zhang Yiming, the Chinese Ambassador to the UAE, noted that in recent years, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has gained momentum in the UAE, becoming a new highlight of China-UAE cooperation. The release of the Arabic edition of the Illustrated Guide to Medicinal Materials Identification will further deepen pharmaceutical collaboration between the two countries and promote exchanges in traditional medicine.
Edited by Professor Zhao Zhongzhen of Hong Kong Baptist University, the book includes 429 commonly used Chinese medicinal materials, covering details such as their origins, production regions, harvesting and processing methods, efficacy, and quality characteristics.
